Jil: OMG! Congrats! E and I absolutely *knew* after about three months. When you know, you know! And hey, we just had ten years! Nevermind that the last year was really rough, but we made it. LOL. So can I throw you an online bridal shower???

Hello Jil,
I've been following your blog for a few months now and I would like to know know whether keeping your own journal and writing about your life as a bipolar has any therapeutic effect for you. What I am interested in is do you feel any different after writing, are you more upbeat, more positive, does writing help you in any way, that sort of thing. I am doing a class project on bipolar disorder ( I'm sure you can relate to that), and getting an answer from a real person rather that looking up research articles makes more sense to me and is more intersting.
I would appreciate your answer.
