CYMBALTA!
I did the responsible Bipolar thing and called my NP today. Someone cancelled, so I was able to get in. No more Effexor, No more Welbutrin....we're trying Cymbalta...and Vistaril, Abilify, and Lamictal.
I didnt sleep last night. Drove. Got home @ nearly 8 this a.m.
Thanks everyone for pulling for me. I'm struggling.
Anyone been on Cymbalta? She told me it would make me really nauseated.
I cant decide if I am going home to sleep or not.

Hi my name is maria, I clicked on your link from gettingnaked's diary. Im on abilify n lexapro. Ive not had expricence with the new one you mentioned, but the abilify will make you nauseous, at least it does me. There is also a risk of gaining weight on it, and it elvating your blood sugar. I have not had a problem with those things, and Ive been on it about 4 months now. But I love your blog, its nice to see that someone else feels things the way I do =) kudos to you and take care. =) maria

I haven't been on that one. Just started lexapro & if this works, he was going to see about changing my mood stabilizer. i was going to try abilify, but if it raises your blog sugar, as maria says, i cant.
I'm relieved that you went to the drs, i was really worried about you. you're awesome jil!

I've been on abilify and it made me more manic. I didn't have a problem with blood suger, and it runs in the family, but be careful anyway.
