More Questions

Q: What's the next big thing you're going to try to do with your life?

A: Hmmmm….the next big thing….is that like the biggest loser?? Well, lets see…I am applying for a new job. I need more cashflow in the ol’ pocketbook…or, well, any cashflow would be nice. BUT – if that doesn’t materialize, I think I may go back to school. I want to get my master’s in software engineering or mass communication (my emphasis would be film or the web).

Q: I'm brewing radioactive rootbeer. What would happen if I gave some to one of those glow-in-the-dark pigs?

A: They’d fucking turn purple & implode. That’s my guess anyway.

Anything else?? I know you guys are just filled with questions… I cant really think of anything you might wanna know about, but I figure theres something??

Jil: On the biggest loser matter -- You feel like a loser right now, but life isn't a race. It's just life. You have it hard. You grind along like everyone of us bipolars and there are times, like the past few days, when you spin your wheels. It's going to get better.

You're a survivor, Jil. Make a graphic, print it on nice paper, and post it on the wall where you can see it as you blog.

One question: did you tell your shrink about what happened over the weekend?

I think the glow-in-the-dark pigs answered all of my ponderings, lol.

I hope that you're doing alright & do talk to your pdoc about everything soon. Just because I want the best for you.

No, I havent told her yet. I see her on the 31st. I probably shouldve called, but I didnt want to be evaluated again because I am not ready to go inpatient yet. I am still thinking it over.

Let me tell y'all something about Jil. When she was a little kid, she got it into her head to let a piece of her hair grow and never cut it. She wore it braided (it was a thin braid and quite discreet, hanging down her back and stored inside her collar) but everybody used to give her grief (of a friendly nature) about cutting it. From the time she was in the 5th grade til she was a senior in high school, she never cut it...you could promise her anything or threaten her or harass her til the cows came home and she wouldn't budge. She would just laugh and go on and would leave you feeling like she had been ignoring you the entire time! Finally, on the last day of football season at this senior recognition pep rally in the gym where every class from kindergarten on gets to attend, along with everybody's parents, grandparents, friends, etc., the spirit moved her and she walked across the gym floor and handed me the scissors and told me to cut it right in the middle of the gym floor in front of God and everybody! Her mom and cousins all asked me if I knew it ahead of time and no, I was as stunned as everybody else. The point of this is that Jil never moves on anything until she gets good and ready...therefore, I was not surprised to read her answer to Jane..."I'm still thinking it over." And knowing Jil, she really is mulling it over and in her own good time, will give us a yes or no about whether she will tell her doctor about it. (I just hope she doesn't wait 7 freaking years like she did about that braided tail episode!!!)

Two questions:

1. When are you going to give us the scoop on D?

2. Are you really doing ok?
