Hope

Where there's hope, there's life. It fills us with fresh courage and makes us strong again. We'll need to be brave to endure the many fears and hardships and the suffering yet to come.

From CS Lewis's "Mere Christianity"--
Hope means a continual looking forward to the eternal world. It does not mean we are to leave the present world as it is. If you read history you will find that the Christians who did most for the present world were just those who thought most of the next...
Book 3, Chap.10, Para.1

Thats very cool. When I think of hope, I think of faith...because it seems like the only way I have hope sometimes is through faith - trust that theres something better than life here. And I cant think of faith without thinking of Hebrews 11. Its one of my favorite parts of the Bible.
